Strategies for commercialisation and market development of new renewable energy-technology:
This is currently my main project, which will hopefully result in me obtaining a PhD sometime in 2012. The project seeks to examine innovation, implementation and commercialization of bioenergy and related technologies from the suppliers’ point of view. With this in mind, its main purpose is to perform a comparison between Norway and Sweden. At a general level the project aims to study different efforts at utilizing bio energy that has resulted in successful implementation, commercialization and market development in the two countries.

The Malawi Landtenure and Social capital Research-project
The MLT&SC’s main goal is to assess what impact formalization of property rights to land will have on the distribution of this important economic resource in the population. As an MA-associate with the project I had the opportunity to do three months of fieldwork in the Kasungu district in central-Malawi. In my thesis I examined two Common Pool Resources from an institutional point of view, trying to assess how formal and informal institutions fosters cooperation, conflict or something in-between. In addition to studying actual Common Pool Resources a series of experimental public goods games were played with local participants to see how cooperative players could be under stable rules of the game.
